How to Use Agent North
Ask Questions Directly: You can ask the Agent any question by clicking the "Ask North Agent" button anywhere in the application. The Agent will interpret your request, analyze your data, and provide relevant answers and recommended actions.
View Your Conversation History: Access all ongoing and past conversations through the Messages tab. Here, you can review prior questions, see responses, and pick up where you left off with ease.
Share Your Feedback: We value your input! Directly from the Agent experience, you can provide feedback to the North.Cloud team—report bugs, suggest improvements or new features, or share any general comments. Rest assured, every message is read; customer feedback is a core part of how we build and improve the Agent.
North Agent is your dedicated cloud FinOps assistant, leveraging agentic approaches to deliver optimal answers and actionable results tailored for your environment. Each Agent operates exclusively within your account, ensuring secure, segregated access if you manage multiple accounts. With visibility into all features across the North application—and additional capabilities for advanced querying using your Cost and Usage Reports (CUR) and CloudWatch metrics—the Agent can support all your FinOps actions, providing consolidated context on your architecture’s health and uncovering complex patterns within your cloud footprint.
Our approach combines deep reasoning, robust tooling, and dynamic composition techniques to ensure you always receive the most insightful and digestible information. North Agent currently relies on a Bedrock foundational model, and may leverage additional models in the future to enhance results. Your security remains our top priority; all data processing occurs within our private VPN, and no information ever leaves your secure cloud boundary.
AI Use & SecurityWe are continually expanding North Agent’s functionality, with upcoming features including direct service-level recommendations, more interactive capabilities (run commands directly via the Agent), and even Slack integration for streamlined team collaboration.
