Liquid Cloud Commitments

What Are Liquid Cloud Commitments?
Liquid cloud commitments are at the heart of Arctic’s approach—this means you, as the customer, are never "on the hook" for long-term cloud commitments. North assumes the full commitment term and associated risks on your behalf. Whether your needs scale up or down, you never have to worry about inflexible contracts or being stuck with unused commitments.
Unlike traditional models where customers are exposed to penalty fees, sunk costs, or rigid timeframes, liquid commitments provide ultimate flexibility. If your usage drops or business conditions change, North uses its proprietary systems to rapidly resize your commitments, ensuring you are only paying for what you actually use.
This flexibility works both ways:
Downsizing: If your needs decrease, North can retrieve or reduce commitment quantities, often in as little as the same day, with our seven-day average retrieval time being one of the best in the market (subject to the agreed MSA and overall volume).
Upsizing: If your usage increases or you require more resources, Arctic can seamlessly add new commitments without the delays of traditional procurement cycles.
Why does this matter? With liquid commitments, the risk and operational overhead are fully managed on North.Cloud's side. You never have to worry about getting stuck with commitments you no longer need, nor do you risk paying for underutilized resources. North takes care of all commitment management, so your organization benefits from optimal efficiency and maximum savings—with complete peace of mind.
Note: Liquid commitment retrieval times and flexibility are subject to volume and the specifics of your North Master Services Agreement (MSA). Our average retrieval time is just 7 days, with best-case scenarios as fast as same-day adjustment.
